Treatment

We aim to offer individually tailored weight loss surgery procedures that best meet the patients' individual needs.

At the initial consultation, you will be seen by one of our surgeons as well as our bariatric dietitian. Normally patients will be seen by our anaesthetist on the day of their operation although prior consultations can be arranged if required. Other members of our team include psychologist Ruth Yoder and clinical nurse specialist Ken Clare. All patients have access to our vibrant patient support group after consultation or can talk to post operative patients on a one to one basis if they prefer.

Please note that revisional, stomaphyx, switch and balloon procedures are only available at the Gravitas Weight Loss Surgery Centre at the Spire Murrayfield Hospital at The Wirral.
